九鬼の史跡と名勝
天然の良港と豊かな漁場を有する九鬼は、古くから漁業と海運の拠点として栄えました。1888年(明治21年)の市町村制公布にともない、翌1889年3月1日より、行野浦・九木浦・早田浦が合併するかたちで九鬼村が成立。1954年(昭和29年)6月20日よりは、尾鷲町・須賀利村・九鬼村・北輪内村・南輪内村が合併して尾鷲市が成立し、以来、三重県尾鷲市九鬼町として現在に至っています。
